trip to melbourne

so on sunday i thought to myself: clint has to work all week & this weekend, the girls start school soon, i'm supposed to work mon & fri, mom & dad have a pool - maybe i can take fri off & just head down to melbourne for a couple of days!!

so i decided to pack up the girls (yes, all 3) tues am and drove to melbourne to visit the fam, SOLO!!! and, i have to admit, the girls did much better than i thought they would; they were perfect!!! we made it in a little over 7 hours, which is REALLY good considering i had a 3 month, 2 yr & 4 yr old! i mean, it normally takes 6.5 hours to do the trip (6 if you're my mom, driving man's greatest achievement), so not bad at all.

i always feel like i'm taking a lot of pictures, but obviously [since this is all i have from our almost week long trip] i'm not!!! but we had an awesome time & the girls can't wait to go back to nana & papa's house!

the girls favorite thing about dad's shop - the SWING!! we went there almost every day for lunch. dad likes having us visit, but i think the heat + kennedy & the parrot's scream off + crazy worker guy = a little too much!
