ellison's first day of school

ellison was very excited to start back at her "jesus school" today.  for some reason, last year she started calling father shay, "jesus."  he is the chaplaine that leads chapel on wednesdays & teaches them their bible stories.  so not only is he called jesus, but it's also his school now!  but it's really funny to be walking down the hall & hear ellison say, "hi, jesus!"  i would LOVE to know what bible story or event made her think that HE is jesus.  anyways, i degress...she was VERY excited!  we made her leaf to go on her class tree last night.  we were supposed to put all her favorite things on it, so when i asked her what she wanted to put on it, she brought me all her toys...zhu zhu pets, figurines, barbie girl movie...i was like, no, we just need to cut out pictures.  and she was like, "ok, i'll get your camera!"  oh yeah...good idea, ellison!!  so we took pictures of all her favs & cut them out.

this will definitely be something cool to save for her to look at in 10 years...to see what toys she liked & had.

has she grown a foot over the summer or what?!!  i can't believe she's in the 3 yr old class already.  such a big girl!  i think she enjoys being at school without big sister!
