kennedy is at such a fun age...i love listening to her conversations. yesterday, i was in the kitchen making breakfast & the girls were watching tv. it seems like at every commercial you can hear kennedy exclaim, "OH, COOL, i want THAT...mommy, are you looking?!! i want that for my birthday!" since ellison just had a birthday, kennedy is counting down the days until hers (dec 17).
so instead of trying to get my attention, i heard her say, "cool! hey ellison, did you know i'm going to get SO many cool toys at my birthday?! it's going to be SO fun!" and then she hugged her. i just chuckled to myself & then i thought, oh crap, i need to start paying attention!! i think this 4th birthday is the first one where she actually is expecting something specific!
anyways, she's a hoot. tonight she asked ruth if she "knew how to crack her nuts." she then showed her how she cracked her KNUCKLES. and so ruth was like, oh, you mean, "knucks?" kennedy got really close to her face and slowly said, "no, NUTTTTS. with a T, roo." ruth & i died laughing after she left the room.

Chris said he hopes that Kennedy didn't teach Madelyn how to crack nuts. :) Thanks again for letting her hang out with you guys last night!
