the kids have been learning about family this month, so today there was a special chapel for grandparents. then afterwards, the kids had little parties in their classrooms & kennedy's class sang their 'days of the week' song. i am amazed at how much she's learning...last week she brought out her thursday panties (she has a set that has a different animal with a day of the week on them) and said, this says thursday, so i should wear these today [and it was thursday]! and she also now knows our address! i forget that that is something i need to teach my kids! thank goodness someone is filling in the gaps for me!!

this part cracked me up...kennedy's class wrote a book called "why grandparents are great". kennedy's page was the second one her teacher read...the lucky charms one! i love that she thinks lucky charms are such a special thing! we get lucky charms for them, but i guess it's just not the same! oh well, at least we know it really only takes about $4 to get kennedy excited!
