ellison gets a haircut )=

some of you may not know this about ellison...she has [or had] a huge head of curly hair. she hates for it to get brushed, and REFUSES to wear it in a pony tail, pigtails, or barretts of any kind. if i manage to get one in [while she's watching tv], she will yank it out as soon as she comes to the realization that i've put it there.

with that said, she has a wonderful little rats nest each morning when she wakes up. at night, during bath time, i shampoo & condition - pantene intensive treatment - and then spray detangler & brush for 10 min - it looks beautiful! gorgeous cascading ringlets. then something happens between 9pm and 8am...are there little tangle elves that stay up all night wrecking havoc in her hair??? well, enough was enough. i sadly cut her sweet curls, so that we can have a new lease on life!

AND, i have to add that i've been able to brush her hair every morning before school in like 30 seconds! woohoo!
