kennedy is just in that phase where she says the funniest things. clint and i are constantly looking at each other, saying, "did she really just say that?!"
last night we had a "baby shower" [cookout] for one of clint's coworkers, emily. as the evening progressed & it was time for the kids to go to bed, i gave them a bath, which is in our main bathroom. after i got the girls out & was getting them dressed, joe's girlfriend poked her head in their bedroom & said, "hey, i'm going to jump in the bathroom, okay?" i said sure. kennedy then looks at me with bug eyes & said, "mom, she's going to go jump in the bathtub!!!" it was so hard not to laugh as i tried to explain to her that she meant something else and was definitely not jumping in the bathtub - something kennedy & ellison get in trouble for! so funny how this little mind catches everything!
also, tonight we were flipping through the channels & austin powers was on...after about 5 min, kennedy says, "hey, he talks like shrek!" given she has watched shrek 1 & 2 who knows how many times, but still! i thought that was pretty impressive!
our router broke, so sorry, i can't post pictures right now...we're using the back-up (dial-up) - wow, what did we used to do before high speed?!!
